Meetings & Events in Glendalough

The Glendalough Hotel has three very different meeting rooms for you.

Surrounded by stunning scenery our largest meeting room, The Glendalough Suite, (max 200), is where your guests will be treated to stunning views over the valley. Located in the original hotel our smaller and more intimate meeting rooms The Coffee Lounge, (max 40), and The Residents Lounge, (max 25) offer a lovely old-world charm.

The Glendalough Suite is a very versatile space which can be set up to accommodate 200 delegates theatre style, or 80 classroom style. For those interactive sessions, u-shape is popular, and this sweeping room can seat up to 30 participants as it does in boardroom style. The Glendasan River flows alongside the Glendalough Suite adding even more drama to the gorgeous scenes outside. As for daylight, this room has daylight and more but if you have a presentation and you want the lights low, we do have black out curtains and projectors built in in this room. The Glendalough Suite also has its own terrace where tea and coffee breaks can be served in the fresh air.

The Coffee Lounge is located in the original hotel and has lots of period features.  This room is flexible and can be set up as a boardroom for 24 delegates or theatre style up to 40 delegates. With double aspect windows this room is full of natural daylight. The Lobby is just outside making a great Tea/Coffee area for breaks during the day.

The Residents Lounge is located next door to the Coffee lounge and is ideal for boardroom meetings, small training sessions, breakouts from our larger rooms or interviews. This room has a maximum boardroom capacity of 10 delegates. This room has double aspect with views overlooking the ancient monastic site. There is lots of daylight in here and the view changes from season to season, so you’ll never get tired of coming back.

Our three suites are all located on the ground floor of the hotel with access to Casey’s Bar & Bistro and The Glendasan River Restaurant for lunch or dinners.
