Looking for more of a challenge, choose one of the suggested Hill Walks below. Many of the walks pass close to cliffs. Keep back from cliff edges. Terrain is generally mountaineous, boggy underfoot and navigational experience necessary. These walks are not for the inexperienced or faint hearted. Enjoy a comfy bed, sumptuous dinner on your 2 night stay in the Glendalough Hotel. A packed lunch is included as our set off for your days trails.

Spinc and Glenealo Valley

9km: Time: 3hrs 30mins: Climb 380m

The trail ascends steeply up by the Poulanass Waterfall before joining a boardwalk. More than 600 wooden steps lead you to a viewing point overlooking the Upper Lake in Glendalough.

Spinc and the Wicklow Way

11km: Time: 4hrs: Climb: 490m:

This walk follows the same route as the other Spinc trails up onto the boardwalk. It stays on this boardwalk for 1.7 kilometers before turning off in the direction of Lugduff Mountain.

Although this walk is short in comparison to the other Spinc routes, it still leads you into mountainous terrain where navigational experience is necessary. Enjoy stunning scenery
