Wicklow is a walker’s paradise with the famous “Wicklow Way” among many available. There are walks for all levels from a gentle stroll for all the family to a challenging harsh terrain hike for regular enthusiasts. Spring and Autumn Walking Festivals are organised by Wicklow County Tourism to give both the active and less energetic rambler the opportunity to sample some fantastic walks with a real festival atmosphere. There are choices of up to four walks per day, to suit all levels of walkers, with walks of interest to suit anyone curious about County Wicklow and Ireland’s history, geology, culture, flora and fauna.
