When can we come and have a look round?

You can contact our Wedding Coordinator Niamh directly on 0404 45135 or at weddings@glendaloughhotel.ie. We welcome all couples to pop in to see us, but we do encourage you to schedule a viewing, as this will ensure that you get the opportunity to discuss all your Wedding details with our Coordinator & enjoy a full tour of our beautiful Glendalough destination.

 How long can you provisionally hold a date for us?

Once you’ve been for a show-round, we can provisionally hold a date for you for 10 working days.

What deposit do I have to pay when I confirm a date?

Once you have booked a date, we will send out a contract and we require a €1000.00 deposit to secure your date.

Who will we be dealing with throughout the Wedding planning process?

Your dedicated Wedding Coordinator Niamh will be on hand to take care of every detail for you & ensure you have the most magical Wedding day possible.

What is the minimum/maximum capacity for a Wedding at The Glendalough Hotel?

We can cater for Weddings of all sizes. Our Glendalough Suite can accommodate between 50-140 people. We also offer our Private Lounges for more intimate Weddings.

Will there be another Wedding on the same day as ours?

No, we abide by a strict one Wedding a day policy here at The Glendalough Hotel.

Is there parking available for Wedding guests?

Yes, we have a large carpark area and we will reserve parking for up to 50 cars,

How do we select our Wedding Menu?

Approximately one or two months before the big day you will enjoy a complimentary Menu Tasting in the Glendalough Hotel, wedding tasting is included for the Wedding couple, additional persons may join, however a small charge will occur. Your Wedding Coordinator Niamh will arrange this at a date & time that suits you best.

Do you offer a Wedding rate for our Guests?

Yes, we offer Wedding rates for each Wedding. You will receive your very own room block of approximately 36-44 rooms which will avail of our Special Rates.

Do you cater for Civil Ceremonies on site?

Yes, we cater for Civil Ceremonies both inside as well as outside on our beautiful Back Lawn.

Do you offer any options for Post Wedding Celebrations?

We offer a variety of options for your Post Wedding Celebration, including an outdoor personalized BBQ.

Can we drop anything off the day before our wedding?

Yes, you can drop table plans, name cards, favours etc. the day before your wedding and your dress and suits if you’d like to.

When do we have to confirm final numbers?

We need an idea of your final numbers 6 weeks prior to your wedding date and actual final numbers need to be confirmed at least 5 working days before your wedding.

Do you have a cloakroom we can use?

We don’t have a dedicated cloakroom, but we can provide a coat rack on the entrance, where guests can leave their coats.

Can you recommend any local suppliers? (florist, photographer etc.)

When you come for a show-round we will give you a comprehensive contact list with details of local suppliers such as photographers, florists, cake makers etc.

Do we have to lay the name cards etc. out on the morning of our wedding or can you do that for us?

We can lay the table with your name places, favours, menus etc. Once they are given to us in table order. We will lay these out for you on the morning of your wedding.
