Meetings & Events in Glendalough

The Glendalough Hotel is uniquely located for Team Building surrounded by the Valley, Meetings, Conferences and Civil Ceremonies.

Surrounded by stunning scenery our largest meeting room, The Glendalough Suite, (max 200), has views of the valley from panoramic windows that sit over the Glendasan River.

For more traditional meeting rooms full of character, our smaller and more intimate meeting rooms The Coffee Lounge, (max 40), and The Residents Lounge, (max 25) are located in the original hotel and offer a lovely old-world charm.

The Glendalough Suite is a very versatile space which can be set up to accommodate up to 200 delegates theatre style, or 80 classroom style. For interactive more intimate meetings, this suite can accommodate 30 delegates in U-shape or Boardroom style.

The Glendasan River flows alongside the Glendalough Suite adding even more drama to the gorgeous scenes outside. As for daylight, this room has daylight and more but if you have a presentation and you want the lights low, we do have blackout curtains and projectors built-in to this room. The Glendalough Suite has its own covered terrace where tea and coffee breaks or BBQ lunch can be served in the fresh air.

Refubished in 2024, the Coffee Lounge is located in the original hotel and has lots of period features. This room is flexible and can be set up as a boardroom for 24 delegates or theatre style for up to 40 delegates. With double-aspect windows this room is full of natural daylight. The Lobby is just outside making a great Tea/Coffee area for breaks during the day.

The Residents Lounge is located next door to the Coffee lounge and is ideal for boardroom meetings, small training sessions, breakouts from our larger rooms or interviews. This room has a maximum boardroom capacity of 10 delegates. The Residents lounge has double-aspect windows with views overlooking the Glendasan River and the Medieval entrance to the monastic site. There is lots of natural daylight and views that change from season to season, you’ll never get tired of coming back.

All three suites are located on the hotel’s ground floor with access to Casey’s Bar & Bistro and The Glendasan River Restaurant for lunch or dinners.
